The third round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series took place at the Viterbo Karting Track in central Italy under clear skies, with racing unfolding from May 29th to June 1st, 2025. The event featured competition in both the OK and OK Junior categories. Lap times were extremely close across both categories, indicating the drivers were pushed to the limit on the fast, flowing layout. The event built towards its decisive conclusion with Super Heats on Saturday and the all-important Finals.
OK-Junior Category
The OK-Junior category saw a strong start to the weekend with Iskender Zulfikari (Forza Racing) setting the fastest overall time in Qualifying Practice with a lap of 52.980. Dan Allemann (Ward Racing) was second quickest, followed closely by William Calleja (Forza Racing).
Throughout Thursday and Friday, the qualifying heats brought a mix of results and considerable shuffling among the front-runners. Dan Allemann emerged as a standout performer in the heats, collecting four wins to top the classification after a strong performance. William Calleja secured three heat victories, staying in close contention, while Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart Racing Team) also impressed with consistent top finishes. Iskender Zulfikari, despite taking four wins in the heats, lost the lead on Saturday after retiring from a race, rounding out the top five in the heat classification along with Henry Domain (Forza Racing). The fight for final grid positions remained wide open heading into Saturday.
In the Super Heats, Dan Allemann confirmed his position by winning the first Super Heat, while Britain’s Noah Baglin (Prema Racing) won the second.
The Final race saw Dan Allemann start from the front. The start was marked by the retirement of Slovakian Alex Molota (Hagemann Racing) and Ilie Tristan Crisan losing contact with the leaders. Iskender Zulfikari made a strong move early in the race, moving up to 3rd place behind Allemann and Calleja. The race remained close until Dan Allemann set the fastest lap of the race and pulled away.

Following his 2nd place finish, William Calleja took the top spot in the OK-Junior Championship standings. The standings after the Viterbo race are: 1- William Calleja (AUS) 221 pts 2- Ilie Tristan Crisan (CAN) 193 pts 3- Noah Baglin (GBR) 189 pts
OK Category
In the OK category, Scott Marsh (DPK Racing) posted the quickest lap in Qualifying Practice with a 51.403, just ahead of Nicolo Cuman (Forza Racing) and Christian Costoya (Parolin Motorsport), with the top drivers separated by barely a tenth.
The heats saw Scott Marsh converting his pole position into two strong wins. He ultimately claimed three heat wins and a second-place finish, topping the intermediate classification. Christian Costoya also picked up multiple victories and led the points for much of the day, finishing second in the intermediate classification. Nicolo Cuman was third after the heats, while Kenzo Craigie (Prema Racing) secured fourth and Thomas Pradier (Tony Kart Racing Team) completed the top five.
Scott Marsh went on to win the first Super Heat.
In the Final, Kenzo Craigie was the first to pass Scott Marsh, but Christian Costoya quickly followed and took the lead on lap 4. The Spaniard, who had won the opening round in Spain, then set the fastest lap and established a lead his rivals could not overcome. The battle then focused on the remaining podium places. Daniel Kelleher (KR Motorsport) put in a strong performance, gaining six places to finish 2nd, ahead of Thibaut Ramaekers (VDK Racing) in 3rd. Drivers like Noah Wolfe (VAR by Birel) and Alp Aksoy (Prema Racing) also showed strong comeback drives, moving up six and eight places respectively. Sebastiano Pavan (Energy Corse) was noted as one of the great movers in the event.

With his second victory of the series at Viterbo, Christian Costoya regained the top spot in the overall OK standings, having previously lost it after the Portimao round.
