Further Successes in KF2!

by Charles Demirjian

The 17th of June was a successful day for Tillotson Racing winning two major events in the one day in the KF2 class.

The CIK Viking Trophy was held at Pori, Finland where the latest HW11B set the pace all weekend long in the hands of Juusi Kuusiniemi (Tony/Vortex) of Ward Racing qualifying on pole position and winning two of his 3 heats, and taking victory in the long 29 lap final. Just as impressive was the performance of Robin Hanson (Tony/Vortex) also of Ward Racing who opted for the HW11B without any prior testing for the main Final and finished 2nd having started back in 20th position, a fantastic achievement.

Meanwhile in Ampfing, Germany Round 4 of the DKM Championship was held  and it was Tillotson mounted driver Denis Olson (Energy/TM) who claimed victory in both finals against strong opposition. He now leads the championship and with 2 of the 5 rounds left to run is looking favourite to lift the title.

It was a fantastic weekend for Tillotson Racing and it again demonstrate the speed of the latest HW11B carburetor.
