Kiltorcan Raceway: Final Round of an Exciting Racing Season
This weekend at Kiltorcan Raceway marks the thrilling conclusion of an exhilarating racing season, featuring outstanding competition across all categories! While some titles have already been clinched in Round 6, others remain undecided, promising plenty of tense moments on the track.
Current Standings in Each Category
IAME Cadet:
Danny Dempsey has been crowned the 2025 IAME Cadet champion after Round 6 at Whiteriver Park, showcasing exceptional performances throughout the year with two victories in the finals! Senan McLoughlin, who also secured two final wins, has pushed Dempsey hard all season and is set to finish as the runner-up. Meanwhile, Sophie Campbell holds third place, which she aims to solidify.
This season has seen four different race winners: Dempsey, McLoughlin, Charlie Blair, and Ethan Woods, delivering thrilling racing typical of the IAME Cadet category.
X30 Junior:
Currently, the X30 Junior category awaits confirmation on event results, leaving the current standings subject to potential adjustments. Without any dropped scores, Adam Holmes leads the points standings, closely followed by reigning champion Tadgh Buckley and Chad Laman in third place. This battle is expected to go down to the wire, promising some epic racing this weekend! Holmes has shown consistency with strong scores, including one victory, while Buckley has demonstrated his competitiveness with four wins this season. Jack McLoughlin also claimed a victory in Round 4.
X30 Senior:
Ireland’s premier karting category has showcased spectacular racing throughout the season and is sure to deliver another great race this weekend. Jack Buckley currently tops the standings, followed by Sean Hogan and Luke Agnew, who make up the current top three, all without any dropped scores. Additionally, the leading Masters driver, John Norris, sits in fifth overall and has consistently competed at the front, as expected from a driver of his experience and caliber.
With both Buckley and Hogan achieving three wins apiece this season, it’s a head-to-head showdown for the top spot.
Not only is the prestige of winning the National Championships on the line, but various prizes are also up for grabs, including cash rewards, tickets to the IAME IWF event, X30 engines, and a test day in an F4 car for the X30 Senior champion—culminating in a prize package worth €40,000!
