Our TPP-225RS is a 225cc four-stroke racing engine designed and built to combine racing level performance with ease of use. The TPP-225RS was developed by Tillotson in partnership with the EC Team for use on in our monobrand T4 Series (T4-C1 Chassis, TPP-225RS engine and Maxxis tires).  The TPP-225RS is also used in the T225RS open chassis class in the United States.  The TPP-225RS was extensively field tested over a three year period by national and international championship karters.  A specially-designed crankcase with a stronger structure provides a longer life and ensures consistent production quality. The larger, 72mm diameter piston provides excellent torque in the lower rpm band and offers exceptional driveability, making it extremely user friendly for new drivers. Our single-mold cylinder head allows for enhanced airflow and consistent production. It also features a specifically-calibrated Tillotson Racing HW diaphragm carburetor for maximum performance in an easy-to-tune package, a billet flywheel for durability and a PVL digital rpm limiter to 6,500 rpm for extended engine life and true racing power. All combined, the engine puts out  15 hp with no expensive tuning required.
